Driver flees crash scene

POLICE are investigating an incident in which a vehicle crashed into a Dalbeattie shop in the early hours of Saturday.

The silver Mitsubishi Shogun Estate collided with T H Carson's premises at The Cross between 1am and 2.15am,

Dalbeattie Police say the driver then made off leaving the vehicle at the scene.

They are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on 0845 600 5701.
